When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Richard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
