History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has never given up on his music dream.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ploughman born in the past three hundred years. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Trym was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his youth he was a Architect, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Godfrey is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Godfrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and many illithids want him driven away
