History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Navigator father left him crippled. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

History: Geoffrey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Bertram was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Merchant. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
