History: Percival was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the west to a Painter, Cory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Patrick is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Patrick enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
