History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Conrad was born the youngest of three triplets. Conrad was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Roofer. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent father
