Description: 6'1" and muscular, this western man is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His ears are large.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and regain custody of his daughter

With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thomas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His green eyes peer out from beneath his broad green hat.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and seeks redemption

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a black armored body suit, with a simple brown line shooting up and back down. His blonde hair is heavily combed to the left. He has gray eyes and a black hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He very much looks the part of a Marshal. He has no hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and expand his business
