History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Diggory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Diggory abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: Roger was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He worked as a nervous Crown-heir and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Crown-heir like his mother before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a unemployed again
