History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Geoffrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Geoffrey never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
