He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a white tunic with blue highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has no hair. His green eyes peer out from beneath his feathered white hat.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: This tall, slender man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His white hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving The war was a terrible time for him, and Robert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He prefers to wear flannel. His silver hair is knotted and matted. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some drow. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in scythe use. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Adam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Adam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
