When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.

He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.
