History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gifted student he started as a Knight, but he got bored and became a Carter. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He dresses well, wearing tan shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He is an epitome of beauty. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Alexandre alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
