History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Roland was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Patrick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Patrick. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption
