Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Rolf hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's also a talented Actor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Engraver who has hired him part-time. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. He is portly but not overly obese. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. He is baby faced.

Personality: Hugh hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.
