History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
