Description: He wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants, and carries nunchakus. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Architect responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: An older man who is typically in his Layabout uniform, he is not a threatening figure. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his small blue hat.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Barkeep, but he got bored and became a Banker. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Banker for hire.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mason born in the past three hundred years. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Godfrey grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Godfrey. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it
