Description: 6'6" and muscular, this western man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has no hair. He has violet eyes and a brown hat with a green feather.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Rolf reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and revenge

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a whip on his belt. He carries with him a set of whips on his belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was a Bowyer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He now owns his own business.
