History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by drow. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Conrad has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
