History: Roland lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Kody was born the youngest of three triplets. Kody liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Hubert was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hubert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
