His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and black handkerchief worn on his right side. He has a very tight haircut. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Tanner. He uses divination through singing.

History: The child of a Brewer, who enjoyed hunting, Solomon was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Solomon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Solomon. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.
