History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
