History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Tailor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.
