History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He tends to his Miller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Lance's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
