History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Charles was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Charles decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Weaver, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a great chef.

History: Born in the north to a Courier, Hugh learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
