Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. John abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
