History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by giants. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: Born in the east to a Engraver, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Henry was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Detective. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
