His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Farmer father left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: To be a Farmer again; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his pickaxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Alexandre was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Lewis was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
