History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Aldous was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is renowned for his bright green suits and hats. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His tied-back hair is red. His ears are large.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by drow. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and to get a good night's sleep

He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
