Solomon Wharton, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: This man usually wears his brown robe and has his sword always slung over his shoulder, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Solomon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's in love; and he desires power and/or immortality

Roger York, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'7" and wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. He wears his chestnut hair down. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Sellsword business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Priest. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Diggory Astley, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Diggory hails from a village terrorized by drow. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Carter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.
