History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. After coming to the age of reason, Aldous took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
