History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in scimitar use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ploughman. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is greedy

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Miller, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Glassblower for the past few years.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
