History: Simon was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This man is very fat, and tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, and he perpetually has his longbow ready. His hair is blonde and very short. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
