He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and expand his business
