Description: This malnourished man is well dressed, constantly wearing a red suit, violet shirt, and white tie. His auburn hair is long and unkept. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Farmer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. After coming to the age of reason, Lance took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To protect his home.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat. His golden hair is thinning but still full. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
