History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

He prefers to carry a hand crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his lance, and his gloved hand is found clutching a lance. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has achieved small success as a Hunter.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a blue suit, green shirt, and violet tie. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shortspear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hunter will drive conversation. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Hunter hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Adventurer responsibilities is difficult.

Description: 5'11" and muscular, this southern man wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered violet stockings. He has a very tight haircut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Jocelyn would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
