History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Gunter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gunter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Bernard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This tall, slender man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull brown iron scale mail. His brown hair is thinning but still full. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: 6'5" and muscular, this northern man is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Simon was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
