History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Painter, but he got bored and became a Sage. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Drogo liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
