History: Richard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Theodoric alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the west to a Miner, Wymar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Sage again; and to end his boredom

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His first spouse was a Shipwright, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
