Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'1" and wears a blue tunic with brown highlights, and long pastel pants that bunch up around his shoes. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are amber and catlike.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Nicholas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Robert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Robert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cook. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: Roger lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a rival would like him out of the picture
