Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Kyle's homeland. Kyle decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
