History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Cory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Diggory grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Adam hails from a village terrorized by giants. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Adam began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and wants to work out more often

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a tight fitting grey shirt and pants. His hair is long and silver with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He has worked as a Miller like his mother before him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to prove his worth to the world
