History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Robert took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
