When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: Anselm was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up work as a Performer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
