History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
