Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. He wears his chestnut hair up. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chad. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to be a shepherd again

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Patrick's homeland. Patrick decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to get a good night's sleep

He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly pickaxes and flails. His hair is cut close to his head. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
