History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Seamstress job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and balancing his hectic life and new seamstress responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He takes great joy in being the best Merchant in town.

History: Alexandre was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Randal was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He now mingles about in high society.
