History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
