History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barber for hire.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the north. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a bricklayer and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and human compassion

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has no hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
