History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has worked as a Dyer like his father before him.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Godfrey was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Godfrey grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Godfrey. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
