History: He was born in the west. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
