Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears dull red sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hammer, just in case. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and money/treasure

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his father's many stories. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and balancing his hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Painter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
